Working on the private and NHS sectors for a number of years now, has proved to be a quite rewarding experience with respect to the variety of treatment alternatives one has to deal with. This has led me to pursue more treatment options for my patients.
Completing the Master of Science in Implant Dentistry from the University of Warwick changed my perspective of treatment planning radically. Implant Dentistry is an ever changing modality in respects of materials and techniques. In order to sharpen my skills, in October 2013 I attended a hands-on Implant Training Course in Brazil organized by the renowned Dr Salvoni at Sao Paolo University.
I have also completed the certificate course by Chris Orr in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. The acquisition of knowledge and clinical skills derived from this course allow me to deliver high quality dental care in a solid and ethically sound foundation.
Since August 2010, I have been appointed as a Vocational Trainer (joint) within the Health Education East of England Deanery. Vocational Training is a challenging and a rewarding experience. It challenges the core of my existing knowledge and encourages reflection on current practice.
I was motivated and committed to enrol for the Postgraduate certificate in Dental Education by the University of Bedfordshire. I am now working towards an accreditation with the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
